Poor Video Quality While Taking Photos During an Inspection

Some use cases, like inspections, involve taking many photos. If the inspector takes photos or saves markups very quickly, video quality can drop.

Why this happens

Photos captured during a Blitzz call upload in the background. Those uploads compete with the video call for bandwidth. On an unstable network, this can make the video blurry or choppy.

How to keep video quality high

  1. Wait for each photo to upload before taking the next one. The banner in the top right shows when the upload is complete.
  2. Give the video a moment to recover. After the upload, the video re-optimizes and sharpens. This can take an extra 5 to 20 seconds.
  3. Then take the next photo and repeat.

If you don't need clear video between photos, you can skip step 2 and just wait for each upload to finish before taking the next photo.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my video get blurry after I take a photo?
