How to Fix "ShowMe keeps stopping" Error on Android

If you see a “ShowMe keeps stopping” (or “App keeps stopping”) error on your device, follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.


Method 1: Restart your device

Sometimes a simple reboot clears temporary glitches and restores app functionality.


Method 2: Clear the Cache & Try Again

A cache is a storage area where frequently accessed data is temporarily stored. So, if you clear the cached data for an app, there is a possibility that the issue should be fixed.

How to Clear Cache

  1. Open the Settings app on your Android device.
  2. Scroll down and tap Apps (or Apps & notifications on some devices).
  3. Scroll down to find the desired app "ShowMe" and click on it.
  4. Tap Storage (or Storage & cache depending on your device model).
  5. Tap Clear Cache.


Method 3: Reset the Application (Clear Data)

If clearing the cache did not resolve the issue, the next step is to reset the app.

How to Clear Data

  1. Open the Settings app on your Android device.
  2. Scroll down and tap Apps (or Apps & notifications on some devices).
  3. Scroll down to find the desired app "ShowMe" and click on it.
  4. Tap Storage (or Storage & cache depending on your device model).
  5. Tap Clear Data.

Note: Clearing the app’s data will delete all stored information and reset the app to its default settings.


Method 4: Uninstall and reinstall the app

If none of the above works, uninstall App completely, restart your device, then reinstall the latest version of App. This often resolves issues caused by corrupted installation files.
