Use these tests to diagnose call quality issues. Each test takes just a few minutes to run.

1. Firewall Test

Check if any IP addresses or ports required by Blitzz are being blocked on your network:

2. Network Stability Test

Check the stability of your network connection. If the result shows Network Appears Unstable, your router or internet service provider is most likely the cause of your call quality issues.

3. Internet Speed Test

Check your connection speed. Both you and your participant need a minimum of 540 kb/s upload and download speed for a good call.


Still experiencing issues?

Ask the user to try the following:

  • Switch to WiFi instead of mobile data where possible — LTE and 4G networks can introduce latency as a congestion management measure.
  • Close or pause any applications or downloads that may be consuming bandwidth.
  • Move closer to their router, or relocate the router to an open area with fewer obstructions such as walls or doors.
  • If they are connected to a VPN, ask them to disconnect and retest. If quality improves, ask their IT team to whitelist Blitzz traffic or enable split tunneling. See our Firewall Configuration guide for details.
