How Agents Can Request Guest to enable Camera/Microphone

The Agent Camera & Mic Control Prompts feature allows agents to easily request that guest users enable or disable their camera or microphone during a Blitzz session. This helps streamline communication and ensure you have the best audio/video setup for successful support.

How it Works (Agent View)

During an active Blitzz session:

  1. Access Controls: As an agent, navigate to the participant controls or the relevant section where you manage guest audio/video.

  2. Send Request: You will see an option to send a request to the guest to:

    • Enable their Camera

    • Disable their Camera

    • Enable their Microphone

    • Disable their Microphone

  3. Guest Notification: Upon sending the request, the guest user will receive a notification on their screen.

How it Works (Guest View)

When an agent sends a request:

  1. Receive Notification: A "toast" notification will appear on your screen, indicating that the agent is requesting to toggle your camera or microphone (e.g., "Allow agent to use your camera?").

  2. Approve or Deny: You will have clear options to either Approve or Deny the request.

  3. Control Maintained: Your privacy and control are always maintained, as the agent cannot force the change without your explicit approval.

Benefits

  • Faster Setup: Quickly adjust audio/video without the guest needing to find their own device settings.

  • Clearer Communication: Ensure you have the necessary visual or audio input for effective troubleshooting.

  • Guest Privacy: Guests retain full control to approve or deny any request.
