[Mobile App] Allow Access to Camera on Android Mobile App

If your camera is not showing up in the Blitzz Settings or it is selected and not showing any video, these tips can help you troubleshoot why it is not working.

Ensure no other apps are using the camera

  1. Open recent applications. How to open this varies by device. On some devices, you can hold down the home button and some have a recent applications button
  2. Swipe right to close any applications that are using the camera

Check that Blitzz Video has permissions for the camera

  1. Open your phone’s Settings app.
  2. Scroll down and tap Apps.
  3. From the app list, find and tap Blitzz Video.
  4. Tap Permissions.
  5. If the Camera permission does not appear under the app’s Permissions list, uninstall Blitzz Video and reinstall it to reset all permissions.

Uninstall and reinstall the Blitzz Video app

  1. Open your phone’s Settings app.
  2. Scroll down and tap Apps.
  3. From the app list, find and tap Blitzz Video.
  4. Tap Uninstall.
  5. Confirm by tapping OK.
  6. Open the Google Play Store.
  7. Tap Install.
  8. Once installed, open the app and click allow when you are asked to camera permissions while joining a call.

Restart your android device

If you are still running into issues, try to restart your android device.
