Reset Blocked Location Permissions

If you previously denied access to location, camera, or microphone permissions in your web browser, your device may not prompt you again automatically. To restore full functionality for Blitzz video sessions, you must reset your browser’s permission settings.


Chrome on Android

To reset blocked permissions in Chrome on your Android phone or tablet:

  1. Open the Chrome appChrome.
  2. To the left of the address bar, tap the Tune icon.
  3. Tap Permissions.
  4. Tap Reset permission (or Clear & reset depending on your Chrome version).
  5. Refresh the page to be asked for permission again (Tap the address bar to refresh the page).


Safari on iOS

To reset blocked location permissions on iPhone:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Go to Privacy & Security.
  3. Tap Location Services and ensure it is turned ON.
  4. Go back to Settings and tap General.
  5. Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Location & Privacy.
  6. After the reset, open Settings → Safari.
  7. Scroll to Location and set it to Allow or Ask (as required).
  8. Reopen Safari and refresh the page or click the link again to be prompted for permission.


Chrome on Windows / macOS

If you’re using Chrome on a laptop or desktop:

  1. Open Chrome and go to the website where your location is blocked.
  2. Click the Tune icon on the left side of the address bar.
  3. Click Site settings.
  4. Click Reset permissions to clear all previous choices.
  5. Return to your Blitzz video call page and refresh the browser tab.
  6. When prompted, Allow access to your camera, microphone, and location.


Google Chrome for iOS

  1. System Level: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

  2. Scroll down to find Chrome in the app list (or go to Privacy & Security → Location Services).

  3. Tap Location and ensure it is set to While Using the App. Ensure Precise Location is toggled ON.

  4. Browser Level: Open the Chrome app.

  5. Tap the three dots (...) in the bottom right corner and select Settings.

  6. Tap Content SettingsLocation.

  7. Ensure Location is toggled ON (this allows Chrome to ask you for permission).

  8. Site Specific: If a specific site is still blocked, refresh the page. If it doesn't prompt, you may need to clear your site data:

    • Go to SettingsPrivacy and SecurityClear Browsing Data.

    • Select Cookies, Site Data and tap Clear Browsing Data.


Microsoft Edge for iOS

  1. System Level: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

  2. Scroll down and tap Edge.

  3. Tap Location and set it to While Using the App. Ensure Precise Location is ON.

  4. Browser Level: Open the Edge app.

  5. Tap the three lines (menu) or three dots in the bottom center/right and tap Settings.

  6. Go to Privacy and securitySite permissions.

  7. Tap Location and ensure it is set to Ask or Allow.

  8. Quick Reset for a Specific Site: * While on the website, tap the Lock or Info icon on the left side of the address bar.

    • Tap Site permissions.

    • Toggle Location to On or tap Reset permissions.
